Tamaru acted more mature in this chapter with how he became honest with his feelings and by sensing how worried Rio was for Ichika. However, Rio was not meddling too much. as it is normal for her to be worried for her best friend especially that Tamaru said in the previous chapter that he does not like Ichika (when he was unsure of his feelings) and now he confessed which made Ichika act out of the ordinary. It’s not like she told Tamaru to stay away. It was nice of her to warn Tamaru of how her brother would act if he became his rival. I think most people are saying they hate Tamaru maybe not of how he acted this chapter but because they don’t ship him with Ichika.

I love Rio. I have 3 faves in this one because of her. Tamaru is wrong though. She isn’t meddling where she doesn’t belong. Rio is like the sister rather than just the friend for Ichika. When we first started going out, my sister told my boyfriend that he’d regret it if he ever hurt me (That’s the nice way to put it lol). But that’s her concern for me. But Rio’s concern is for both of them as Ichika is her best friend and Ryou is her brother. They’re both good people and she’s supporting them. Her meddling is to the minimum which fits her personality… the little pushes too. She’s even given Tamaru fair warnings here and there. She’s never told him to just back off cuz that’s not her place or her character. So to practically tell her to mind her own business kinda made me wanna break out a voodoo doll of him…lol.
