I’m glad he has at least one parent. Authors usually have some reason why parents say or act the way they do trying to make me understand. I never understand. I actually think it’s cute when dads get all emotional over the daughters first real boyfriend. But when they’re really just trying to be controlling or they just plain being neglectful of their kid? I’m not so understanding and don’t want to understand. I know everybody is different. Not everybody will be open to others living their lives. But if they don’t have to be understanding, I don’t have to be understanding.
Good luck, Ryou. You’re a good person and even though Rio makes snide comments about you being a womanizer, you’ve found your reason to stop and you have. You deserve to be happy.
